My good friend Joni Freeser took a photo of this skull hanging on a post at her family ranch. Originally, the image had a clear sky. As the drawing progressed I chose to add dynamic clouds from a personal reference. I love the timeless feel this piece has. Many things have changed in the west, but some things haven’t.
